11th Annual Sugarbeet Festival, just a month away

As August winds down the residents of Chinook start looking forward to the 11th Annual Sugarbeet Festival.

The Chinook Sugarbeet Festival is an event that honors an industry or area of the community that has had significant impact on the small town. This year it will celebrate the railroad industry, from the time that James J. Hill first laid tracks through north central Montana to the present day.

Beginning Friday, September 23rd the festival will kick off with a Health Fair being put together by the Sweet Medical Center as well as a showing of Night at the Museum 3 on the north side of th...
