Chinook Water Update

The town of Chinook would like to report that after a recent shut down of the water system to replace a fire hydrant, that the water is now safe for people to drink.
Any time a water system is shut down for any reason, a sample must be sent to DEQ for testing and the results of those samples were returned this morning and the water is safe for human consumption.
The town of Chinook would like to thank the residents for their patience in this process.
