The Chinook Sugarbeeter football team took to the field for the first time this past Saturday for Northern C clash against the Centerville Miners.
After spotting the Miners and early 14-0 lead the Sugarbeeters responded with scores in the third and fourth quarters to tie things up at 14-14 midway through the final stanza.
A late score by Centerville gave the visitors a heartbreaking 20-14 win over the home standing Sugarbeeters.
