Sugarbeeters off to a fast start as they top Fort Benton 3-1 and win Malta Invitational

The Chinook Sugarbeeters volleyball team got the season started in the best of possible ways this past weekend.

Friday night the girls faced the Fort Benton Longhorns in a non-conference match that would give the team some solid footing heading into the Malta Invitational preseason tournament Saturday.

The Longhorns got the best of the 'Beeters in the first set 25-21 but Chinook bounced back in set number two to win 25-20 and then dominated the third set 25-10 before closing the deal out with a 25-21 set and match win.
