Betty Mae (Springer) Anderson, 79, a resident of Harlem went to her room in heaven Monday, August 29, 2016. Vigil was held on Monday, September 5, 2016 at 7:00 pm and a Funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 11:00 am all at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church. Betty was born May 25, 1937 to Claude and Blanche Springer, the 13th of 14 children. She attended grade school at Grain Belt, north of Havre. She went on and graduated from Havre High School in 1955. She met, Gilbert Anderson, the love of her life, and the couple married November 26, 1956. To this union seven children were born.

Betty was a farmer, rancher, homemaker and above all a caregiver. She cared for and loved many people over her lifetime. She enjoyed the company of her children, grandchildren and of the many others that called her mom.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert; parents Claude and Blanche Springer; mother and father-in-law Bert and Ruby Anderson; sister -in- law Alice Anderson; brothers, Vurl, Clyde, Glen, Cliff, Fred, Martin, Lynn and Ruel Springer; sisters, Vera Swinney, Beulah Brown, Delores Allen and Eva McIntosh; and son -in- law Mike Newman.

She is survived by her daughters, Deb Newman and Blanche Marie (Jason Waggoner) Anderson; sons, Greg, Bruce (Sally), Scoot (Missy), Jim (Tracy), Bill (Carrie); son of the heart Mike (Jeanie) Kase; daughters of the heart, Susan O’Leary, Annette (Jolyn) Wise and Melinda (Brian) Hammett; grandchildren, Tammie (JJ) Parks, Chad (Cory) Newman, James (Ashley) Newman, Cassidy Anderson, Chris, Jenny, and Erika Anderson, Laurel and Skyler Anderson, Tory Hawley, Gavin Lemro, and Austin Anderson; as well as five great grandchildren; sister Ila Knudson; sister-in-law Lila (Stuart) Armstrong; and many nieces and nephews.

Mom you are loved and missed. Rest in peace.
