Hunters out in full force as Pheasant season opens

Blaine County is known for a lot of things, from its vast agricultural and ranching enterprises, to a small-town community sense of helping one another whenever needed.

The region is also home to some outstanding hunting opportunities. National Outdoor shows have shot on location in Blaine County throughout the years. Ted Nugent harvested a Buffalo on the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation for a documentary, and numerous Whitetail and Mule Deer hunts have been filmed through the years, but Blaine County and the Hi-line is also highly revered as a great spot for Upland Game Bird hunting.
