2017 North Central Montana Relay for Life Kickoff Dinner

The 2017 American Cancer Society Relay for Life kicks off Friday, October 21st at 6pm at the Chinook Eagles Club. The Eagles are hosting a Spaghetti dinner to raise money for the Relay. Individuals and teams can also sign up at the dinner for the 2017 Relay for Life. This year, Blaine and Hill counties will be combining their efforts in the fight against cancer.
Relay for Life provides support and celebrates cancer survivors and caregivers each year. Donations from each event go to the American Cancer Society where they can be used to promote research for both cures and prevention of cancer as well as help provide access to care for those suffering from cancer.
The joint North Central Montana Relay for Life event will take place at the Havre High School football field in the summer of 2017. An exact date will be set at a later time. Black Magic Productions will also be returning to volunteer their DJ services for the 7th year.
If you are interested in participating in the Relay but didn’t make it to the kickoff event, you can attend a Relay for Life committee meeting on November 9th at 5:30pm at the Chinook Eagles. There will be a December meeting in Havre as well. They will be setting their goals for the year as well as determining dates for other fundraisers at the meeting. There will be another fundraising event in January 2017, but the exact details are yet to be determined. Chinook High School students will also be involved in upcoming fundraising events.
