District Volleyball Tournaments in Chinook, Malta

The District 6C-East tournament begins this Thursday in Chinook while the District 2B tournament gets underway this Friday in Malta.
The Chinook Sugarbeeters own the District 6C-East regular-season crown for the third straight year and will look to make another trip to the Northern C Divisionals with a strong performance at this week’s District Tournament.
The Hays/Lodge Pole Thunderbirds open up play at The District Tournament Thursday against the Chester-Joplin Inverness Hawks.
The Thunderbirds have had a tough go of it on the court this fall but will look to compete hard and give the Hawks all they can handle in their opening match.
The ‘Beeters will take on the winner of Box Elder versus Big Sandy to begin post season play.
The Harlem Wildcats enter the district 2B tournament has the number 4 seed and will open play Friday against the Malta M-ettes to begin tournament action.
The top two teams from The District 6C-East tournament will advance to the Northern Divisional in Conrad next weekend. The top four teams from the District 2B will head to the Northern B tournament in Shelby also next weekend. The top two teams from each divisional will advance to the all-class state tournament in Bozeman November 10-12.
