Chinook FFA students on the bus headed to Bozeman for the John Deere AG-Expo the weekend before Thanksgiving.

The weekend of November 18th, our chapter traveled to Bozeman for the JDAE (John Deere Ag Expo).

On top of individual events the chapter members had, they went to a leadership training each morning they were there. During which speakers came in to tell them of their business experiences and give them advice on how to be a good leader and how to be successful.

The chapter officers competed in Parli Pro. The members also split up into teams for Quiz Bowl, one junior team and two senior teams.

Chinook Senior Team Number 1: Wade Schneider, Sierra Swank, Garrett Lowham, and Alyssa Gruszie obtain 2nd place, and the other teams made it a long way before losing out. Additionally, Ryle Elliot came home with a 2nd place finish in Junior Mechanics.

On the last night the members were there they danced the night away at the JDAE dance that was held in the ballroom of the SUB on campus.

Overall, it was a great weekend for Chinook event wise, and was filled with fun activities that made it hard for the members to want to take a break!
