Amy Egbert and Anita Reed went over to Elissa Zellmer’s house on Thursday to sort community calendars. They enjoyed lunch with Elissa and Jordan while there.
Tom and Lucy were to the basketball games this weekend.
Don and Bonnie Harmon thoroughly enjoyed the Tornado basketball games this weekend.
EMR (Emergency Medical Responder) classes have been taking place at the Turner Lutheran Church. There are nine people attending and they meet twice a week. If everything stays on track they will be done by the second week of March. Bonnie Harmon reports how excited she is to have these people who have dedicated themselves to do this service. Good Job, folks!!!
Gerald and Shirley Keller were to Havre and Lewistown to watch the Blue Ponies play basketball. Their granddaughter, Kendall Keller, plays for the Ponies.
Virginia McCracken had a busy Saturday. The Quilt Guild enjoyed a belated Christmas Party over in Hogeland at the Lutheran Church. Then later she attended the Tornado-Beeter basketball game at the Turner gym.
Ron and Susan Fox were in Billings over the weekend visiting their son.
The Turner School local spelling bee will be held January 11th in the 5th and 6th grade classroom at 2:45 p.m.
Keep your calendar open for Tuesday, January 31 when the makeup basketball game will be held. It is at 4:00 and 5:30 p.m.
Remember to check out the Adult Ed classes offered on info@turnermontana.us There is something for everyone and what a great opportunity to help chase the winter blues away!! This week’s classes include a QuickBooks class on Monday, Wheat Streak Mosaic class on Wednesday, and a woodworking class on Friday and a Norwegian Pastry class on Saturday.
Basketball games this week include Thursday at home vs. Box Elder at 5:00 and 6:30/ Friday, the games will be held at home again with Big Sandy at 6:00 and 7:30. Concessions will be available.
Terry and Tammy Jones were to Chester to drop off a desk with Britney and Matt Tempel.
