MSU Blaine County Extension to hold Pasture and Range Pest Management Seminar February 1st

MSU Blaine County Extension will be holding a seminar to inform producers on how to control noxious weeds in the area, including recent research using bacteria as a biocontrol method to control cheatgrass and how to utilize integrated pest management in livestock operations to control insect pests such as horn flies.

Speakers will include Dr. Jane Mangold, MSU Extension Rangeland Weed Specialist, Christian Lehnert the Blaine County Weed Coordinator, and Ben Hauptman Blaine County MSU Extension.

This workshop will be at the Triple E Meeting Room in Chinook on Wednesday, February 1st, starting at 1:00 p.m. There is no fee. Please call the Blaine County Extension office with any to RSVP or if you have any questions, ph. 357-3200.
