Congratulations to Art Kleinjan. He was voted in as the new president of the North Central Area Agency on Aging Council at our meeting in Chester on Friday. What an honor for Chinook! We are so lucky to have him represent the 13 agencies that make up our area.

Our February calendar is out, so stop by and pick one up when you come in for a cinnamon roll on Thursday morning.

Don’t miss Whist on Wednesday, Jan. 25 at 1 p.m. We can always use more players.

The movie “For Better or for Worse” is also being shown Wednesday afternoon at 1 p.m. in the library meeting room. Refreshments will be served.

We will have our Senior Exercise class on Thursday, Jan. 26 at 10:30 a.m. with Carmen Van Voast from Spring Back Therapy. Come try out this special class tailored just for seniors!

Since Jan. 26 is the last Thursday of the month, there will be Blackout Jackpot Bingo at 1 p.m. with a $10 prize. Last week’s Bingo winner was Virginia Olsen.

On Friday, Jan. 27, we will be celebrating January birthdays with a Birthday Party and Bake Raffle. The Kitchen Band will be playing and there will be cards after lunch. Last week, Jack O’Brien had the low score and Mary Novak had the high score.

Monday, Pool will be played at 1 p.m.

Tuesday, Shanghai Rummy starts at 1 p.m. Last week’s winner was Tasia Hawley.
