Chinook High School Students Excel at Regional Business Professionals of America (BPA) Event

The Chinook High School Business Professionals of America competed very well at the regional event in Sidney.

Business Professionals of America is the national student organization for students preparing for careers in the business world. The organization consists of local chapters in middle schools, high schools and colleges all across North America.

The mission of Business Professionals of America is to contribute to the preparation of an excellent workforce through the advancement of leadership, citizenship, academic, and technological skills. Business Professionals of America will:

• Be a cohesive agent in the worldwide networking of education, business and industry.

• Be the leading student organization in preparing a world-class workforce.

• Set a standard of excellence for career and technical student organizations.

Business Professionals of America is one of the national career and technical student organizations recognized by the US Department of Education.

Membership in the organization affords students many opportunities to expand their knowledge and experience. BPA's co-curricular approach integrates its programs and services into the business classroom curriculum complementing, supplementing, and enhancing the student experience. Both students and teachers benefit from their association with BPA.

The Regional Leadership Conference held at Sidney High School on January 18th, 2017. This qualification at Regionals allows you to compete at the State Leadership Conference held in Billings, March 12th – March 14th. Our Region 8 is composed of students from the following communities: Bainville, Chinook, Circle, Culbertson, Froid, Jordan, Glasgow, Lambert, Malta, Opheim, Plentywood, Poplar, Saco, Scobey, and Sidney.
