The Turner Tornado Track & Field team competed in Glasgow last week at the Scottie Qualifier.

Junior Eddie Harmon continued to perform well on the track winning the 800 Meter Run with a time of 2:09.43.

Harmon also picked up a third place finish in the 200 Meter Dash crossing the finish line in :25.09.

Freshman Sarah Billmayer picked up a fourth place finish for the Tornadoes in the 100 Meter Hurdles with a split of :19.09.

Sophomore Cody Welsh also scored Turner points on the track sprinting to a fourth place finish in the 110 Meter High Hurdles with a time of :17.60.

Harmon has been exceptional for the Tornadoes the past few years and this season has been no exception.

Harmon qualified and ran well at the State C Meet a season ago and is on pace to have another great finish to the season this year.

Harmon currently has the third fastest time in the 800 Meter Dash among all Class C competitors this spring. His effort at the Cal Wearley Invitational was clocked at 2:06.70.

Harmon also recorded a time of :54.12 in the 400 Meter Dash, also at the Cal Wearley and that time currently is the fifth fastest in the Class C this spring.

The District 9C Track and Field Meet will be held May 10 in Havre. The Northern C will be in Great Falls on May 18. The State C will be held in Laurel May 26-27.
