Chinook FFA members compete at Envirothon

Four members of the Chinook FFA Chapter took part in the Envirothon Competition in Bozeman recently. It was a first for the local chapter but one they would be willing to do again. Those attending were (l-r) Rielly Wiegand, Wylee Brown, Sierra Swank and Hailey McMaster.

Monday, April 24, Chinook chapter members departed early in the morning once again for another opportunity to learn and socialize in the form of a competition.

This particular competition, Envirothon, was a first-time for the Chinook Chapter that these courageous members: Hailey McMaster, Rielly Wiegand, Wylee Brown, and Sierra Swank, decided to take on with open minds.

This competition was open to FFA chapters and public school science classes. The first thing the competitors did was take tests on subjects of Forestry, Range, Aquatic Ecology, Wildlife, and Soils/Land Use. Then, after lunch MS...
