Harlem Elementary K-6 graders form a 2017 to show their appreciation to the JOM program for their continued support. JOM donates the color-coded t-shirts, making it a breeze to keep each class together at the meet.

Thursday, May 11th, found Harlem Elementary staff and students raring to go in anticipation of their favorite day of the school year, Track & Field Day! Each student and staff member quickly donned their 'color-coded by grade' t-shirts, compliments of JOM, and made their way down to the high school track. After forming a huge 2017 to thank JOM for their support, the games were ready to begin! Every student, kindergarten through 6th grade, chose three events in which to participate. Between all of the running events, field events, lunch, dance time, and even treats from the Travel Club concession stand, staff, students, and on-lookers had the best time ever! Not surprisingly, the weather was absolutely gorgeous; somehow, organizer Mr. Denham, elementary P.E. Instructor, always chooses the perfect day for the annual Track & Field Meet. This yearly tradition has become the unofficial start to the end of another fantastic year at Harlem Elementary!
