I hope everyone makes sure to visit the Blaine County Fair this week. It should be a good time for all! We have made some schedule changes because of it, so here’s the schedule.
We will have Whist on Wednesday, July 12 at 1 p.m.
We have cancelled our Strong People class for Thursday, but we will still have Bingo at 1 p.m. Last week, Marilyn Williamson was the blackout winner.
The annual meeting will be held on Friday, July 14 at 11:30 a.m. Rochelle Wohlschlager and Kathy O’Brien are the incumbents whose terms are up, but they have each announced they would serve a second term. However, nominations will also be taken from the floor. A board meeting will follow at 1 p.m.
Memberships are due this month. They are $10. You can renew them by mail, give the money to your meal delivery driver or just bring it to the center. You must be a paid up member to vote at the annual meeting.
Pinochle is still scheduled for Friday afternoon. Last week we had 12 people playing and the winner was Elisabeth O’Brien.
Pool & Cribbage is set for Monday, July 17 at 1 p.m.
Tuesday will be our Cancer Support Group starting at 11:30 a.m. Guest speaker this month is cancer survivor Michelle Sather.
The Public Card Party was Sunday with high score - Mike Randall and low score - Fritz Read. Frances Ewing had a double pinochle four times.
Shanghai Rummy will be played Tuesday afternoon.
