Remember that this coming Friday, July 21st, is the Annual Firemen picnic at the Turner Park. Potluck salads and desserts are asked and the main course will be served by our local Turner Firemen. The drawing for the half of beef will also take place. If you would like a ticket, please contact any Turner Volunteer Firemen. There is still time to purchase yours at $15.00 a ticket. Besides the firemen, tickets can also be purchased at Big Flat Grocery. Come help fill the boot and come have a great time at the park!!

There will be a cereal plot tour at the Max Cederberg farm this Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. Dinner and drinks will be furnished by Cenex Big Sky. Everyone is welcome to attend the informative, fun evening.

Miles, Linda, and Lindsay Hutton were in Billings over the weekend to watch Reece play in the East West Shrine game. He played offensive tackle and the East son 38-24. They also attended a banquet later.

Sonny and Nellie Obrecht attended a memorial service for Mike Belcourt in Havre one day this week.

Darel and Linda Hauge enjoyed a weekend of camping at Beaver Creek.

Shania and Diana Maloney took Hannah and Natalie Richman to Chinook for their 4-H interviews on Thursday.

Sunday guests at the Max Cederberg home were Lenny Erickson, and Scott, Cathy, Sammi, and Jessi Hendrickson from Hinsdale, Illionois, Scott is D. Thomas Hendrickson’s youngest son.

Sonny and Nellie were to the 4-H Livestock sale in Chinook on Sunday.

Gerald and Shirley Keller took in the many events at this year’s Blaine County Fair.

Dan and Amy Hutton spent the weekend on the West Coast attending a nephew’s wedding.

Tom and Lucy Fairbank were to Pontomac, Montana where they attended a Nissen family reunion. They report having a good time!

Glenna Ammen and Shirley Keller went to Malta on Friday where they attended the funeral service for Joelyn Slade.
