Don’t allow evil to cloud your perception of God
Q. I find the Bible interesting (or at least parts of it), but I don’t think we ought to follow it as a guide for our lives. After all, it’s thousands of years old, and we live in a different world today.
A:Yes, we do live in a different world — and yet millions of people all over the world still look to the Bible to guide them and give them hope. They have discovered that Jesus’ words — spoken almost 2,000 years ago — are still true: “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away” (Mark 13:31).
