The South End Business Main Street Block Party held this past Friday was an overwhelming success.

The Blaine County Museum, The Blaine County Wildlife Museum, Chinook Tire & Lube, The Blaine County Journal, Finley's Food Farm and Crystal Stepper, State Farm Agent got together and welcomed the community to their businesses and thank them for their continued support.

Chris Carpenter, owner of Chinook Tire and Lube smoked a pulled pork lunch to serve during the event and dished up more than 170 meals during the day.

The businesses involved offered it's own unique treat to guests: The Blaine County Journal served a variety of drinks. Crystal Stepper and her crew had an amazing Chocolate Fountain, Angel food cakes and other goodies. Finley's Food Farm introduced customers to a new food service program they are going to be providing and the museums were open for visitors to check out.

The Block Party began in the morning and ran throughout the day and in someways, much of the night.

The event was well attended with guests filling out punch cards by stopping at each location. Upon getting their card punched they were entered into a drawing for a basket at each location. Winners were drawn at the conclusion.

When the dust settle one thing was certain, the 'Block Party' was an overwhelming success and as a group, the businesses would like to collectively thank all those who attended for all their support and offer this: Look for more 'Block Parties' in the future!
