Plan to attend the 26th annual Hassle Free Christmas Program at the library November 28th at 7:00 p.m. As always, we will have presentations, the Bell Choir will perform and we will have plenty of delicious food to eat!
New fiction this week includes several from our patron’s favorite authors. “Mind Games” by Iris Johansen is an Eve Duncan novel. “Winter Solstice” by Elin Hilderbrand is the conclusion to the Winter Street Trilogy. “Two Kinds of Trouble” by Michael Connelly is a Harry Bosch novel. “Killing Season” by Faye Kellerman is an electrifying novel of suspense as a young man’s investigation into his sister’s death draws him into the path of a sadistic serial killer. “The Stolen Marriage” by Diane Chamberlain is steeped in history and filled with heart-wrenching twists, and is an emotionally captivating novel of secrets, betrayals, prejudice, and forgiveness.
Wednesday movies are showing again! The Redemption of Henry Myers will be the movie today at 1:00 p.m. in the library meeting room. It is not rated and running time is 1 hour and 41 minutes. Everyone is welcome to attend and refreshments will be served. In the Heart of the Sea will be November 8th. We will be showing the movies with closed captioning whenever possible. Hopefully this will encourage those who may have difficulties hearing the movies to attend.
Thank you to everyone who stopped at our booth at the Sweet Clinic Health Fair last Friday. The library will had a booth with a reading nook, STEM toys, a coloring table, treats and drawings. Winners of our door prizes were Taylor Overcast, Eleri Haney, Erica Smith, Nora Conner and Mellissa Anderson.
