November 1, 2017

Calendars are out, so stop by to see all we have planned for you this month!

On Wednesday, the movie “The Redemption of Henry Meyers” will be shown in the library meeting room at 1 p.m. Refreshments are provided. Plan ahead for “In The Heart of the Sea” being shown on Nov. 8.

Bingo is played Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m. Last week, Amy Belle Smith won the Jackpot prize.

Friday, the Kitchen Band will play and there will be Pinochle after lunch. Pinochle winners last week were Mary Novak and Don Durocher. Having Double Pinochles were Virginia Olson and Jack O’Brien.

The activity for Monday, Nov. 6 is Pool & Cribbage.

Shanghai Rummy is played every Tuesday afternoon. Chandra McCafferty won the cinnamon roll last week.

The Hearing Clinic with Pat Fournier from Great Falls will be Tuesday, Nov. 7 starting at 10:30 a.m.

Don’t forget, Whist will be played Wednesday, Nov. 8 at 1 p.m. We had two tables going last week and it was a lot of fun!

We are starting our exercise class back up on Thursday, Nov. 9 at 10 a.m. This is free to all seniors. Our YAV Lauren will be the instructor. It will be nice to get this program going again.

Thank you to Dave Novak for fixing our table leg, the SMC for all the food, and to Frances Ewing and the family of Vivian Brainard for the donations. The center appreciates all you do for us.

Judy Chapman is our fill-in for meal delivery driver Art Kleinjan, when he is gone and we love the great job she does. Our volunteers are the heart of the senior center and we could not get along without you!

Stop in… the coffee is always on!
