Thank you so much to Mark and Betty Billmayer, Jay Eslick, Larry Wisch and Kathy O’Brien for hosting the annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner this year. We have started a delivery list. If you would like to be added to it, just call 357-2648 and give us your name, phone number, the delivery address and how many meals you would like. If you would like to volunteer for this event, I would be happy to give them your name.
Now on to this week’s activities… Whist will be played this Wednesday at 1 p.m.
The movie “In The Heart of The Sea” will be shown in the library meeting room at 1 p.m. also on Wednesday. Refreshments will be provided. “A Time To Dance” will be shown next Wednesday.
Our “Strong People” exercise class is starting back up this Thursday at 10:30 a.m. with Lauren in the library meeting room. This is a free class for all seniors. Blaine Couty Extension Agent Kendra Seilstad will be overseeing this program.
Bingo will be played Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m. Irene Gauthier won the Blackout last week.
On Friday, we will celebrate Veterans Day early with a chicken dinner and the Kitchen Band will play. Pinochle will be played after lunch. Pinochle winners last week were Don Duroscher and Virginia Olson. Marilyn Williamson and Rochelle Wohlschlager had a 300 Pinochle.
Don’t forget the Public Card Party will be on Sunday, Nov. 12 at 1:30 p.m.
There will be a board meeting at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 13. Pool & Cribbage will be played at 1 p.m. also.
The Medicare Part D Enrollment Event will be Wednesday, Nov. 15 at the Senior Center. There will be two workers here from Conrad for this. Give me a call at 357-2648 for an appointment.
Shanghai Rummy is played every Tuesday afternoon. Don Durocher won last week.
Thank you to Rod Phares for the wonderful cribbage board. It is beautiful and we will enjoy keeping score on it.
