James John Cresswell 73, passed away on March 5, 2024 after a lengthy illness at the Forsyth, MT. Hospital.
Jim was born on April 25, 1950 in Havre, MT to Olive (Reed) and Rayford Cresswell. He attended school in Harlem and graduated from Turner High School in 1969. He then served in the Navy. After his discharge from the service he moved to Billings. Jim and Peggy were married May 7, 1976 in Billings. He retired from ConocoPhillips Refinery in Billings. They were residing in Colstrip , Mt at the time of his death.
Jim is survived by his wife Peggy Cresswell, daughter Dawn Sowell, one grandson, sisters Laura (Russell) Ritter, Millie (Roger) Weers, Marcia Wickum, brothers Roger (Jane) and Lannie (Karla), and sister-in-law Marina Cresswell. He is preceded in death by his parents, son David, and brothers Rayford, Gregory, and Brent.
A Memorial will be held at Montview Cemetery in Billings on May 6, 2024, at 11:30 am.
