Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone!!

Sandy Beck attended the open House at Shores Floral last Sunday.

Elissa and Jordan Zellmer and family attended the Basketball games at Big Sandy last Friday and took in the day long basketball Jamboree in Turner on Saturday.

Susan Billmayer took Emily to Great Falls on Tuesday for a Dr. appointment.

Teresa Cornell spent last week in Great Falls attending meetings. While there she visited her Mother, Evelyn Hedstrom.

Wally and Loretta Beck traveled to Big Sandy on Friday to attend the basketball games there. On Saturday, they attended the basketball jamboree in Turner and watched the kids play ball.

Gene, Susan, and Emily Billmayer attended the “Thanks for the Harvest” soup supper and service in Hogeland Thursday evening.

There will be the last Jr. High game in Box Elder on Tuesday, November 21st. The District 9C Tournament will be the following week, starting November 28th. Times will be determined after the last game on Tuesday.

Turner High School girls and boys started basketball practice this week. Their first game will be December 1-2 at the Glasgow Class C Showcase.

Wally and Loretta Beck enjoyed lunch at the Guadalajara restaurant in Havre Friday with Mike and Crystal Grabofsky, Cooper and Lucy before the Big Sandy games.

Susan and Emily Billmayer attended the Craft Show Saturday in Turner and then went to the basketball games at the school.

Loretta Beck attended “Thanks for the Harvest” soup and supper on Thursday night in Hogeland at the Lutheran Church.

Linda Hauge, Diana Maloney, Anita Reed, and Hilary Richman were over to help Mom and Dad Krass during the week.

Susan and Emily Billmayer went over to Turner for the Turkey Bingo sponsored by the Pep Club Sunday afternoon.

Poker Bingo will be held on Friday November 24 starting at 5:30 p.m. Pick up your first card at the Legion Hall, and proceed to all the Turner business’.

Don’t forget the Advent Christmas Tea on December 3 at 2 p.m. at the Turner Lutheran Church.

The Hogeland community extends its sympathy to the family of Virda Klindworth who passed away this past week. Her service will be held in Harlem on Monday and burial will be at Silverbow Cemetery north of Hogeland. She lived in this community for many years and belonged to organizations in the area and was a member of the Hogeland Lutheran Church.

Kevin Beck was a Thanksgiving guest of Laura and Dale Sherwood in GreatFalls on Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving guests at the home of Teresa and Dave Cornell were Cassie and Richard Handran, August ande baby Evelyn, Chet and RuthAnn Fouts, Logan and Heather Fouts, Taylor and Kayla Fouts and Shandel Fouts.

On Friday Ty and Harley Beck visited Grandma Loretta and Grandpa Wally Beck while their folks went to town. In the evening, Loretta took them over to the Poker Run event and the kids went home with their folks.

Harlan and Jane Krass were among the Thanksgiving dinner guests at the home of Anita and Steve Reed and family.

On Friday Dave and Teresa Cornell,and Cassie and Richard Handran and children went to Great Fallls to visit Mom Evelyn Hedstrom, the Kris Hedstrom family and Cori Hedstrom family. On the way home, they stopped to visit at the Dale Cornell home.

Thanksgiving guests at the Wally Becks were Mike and Crystal Grabofsky, Cassidy, Holly, Cooper, and Lucy, and Bobbi and Shawn Beck, Tate, Ty, and Harley Jo.

Thanksgiving guests at Susan and Gene Billmayers were Denny and Colleen Overcast, Marna and Stephen Strzelczyk, and Jennifer, Emily Billmayer, Eric Billmayer and his girl friend, Karyn Reiger of Laramie, Wyoming.

Hilary Richman, Hannah, and Natalie were out to Mom and Dad Krass on Sunday and spent the afternoon frosting Christmas cookies and making Lefsa.

The Christmas Tea will be held in Turner at the Lutheran Church December 3rd at 2 p.m. Everyone welcome.

The Jr. High basketball teams have their tourney this week at Gildford. It begins on Tuesday and the teams play all week. I don’t have the brackets so don’t know when the teams play. You can contact the school or any of the players to check on this.

The Varsity basketball teams have been practicing for the past couple of weeks and they will play in a Tourney Showcase in Glasgow this weekend, December 1 and 2. Lots of games to attend to watch our young people play.

The Krass girls have been over to help Mom and Dad throughout the week. Its so nice to have family close.

The Poker Run was well attended on Friday in Turner. The weather was good and everyone had a good time, even going on hay rides in the evening.

The weather has been really nice this past week. It was 63 degrees on Thanksgiving. Suppose we will have a change now and it will turn winter. Sure nice for those traveling on the roads.
