Montana tree shines bright on Capital Hill

The National Tree past through Blaine County in November on its way to the Capitol lawn in Washington D..C. The tree was harvested in the Kootenai National Forest in western Montana. During its trek to the nations capital the caravan transporting the tree made two stops in Blaine County. First, hundreds of residents in Chinook including many from the elementary and Jr./Sr. High Schools got a chance to take pictures with the tree and sign a banner. From there the tree was greeted with a ceremonial stop in Ft. Belknap where many more got to witness the National trees on its way to D.C. See st...
