Harlem sophomore L'Tia Lawrence, won both the 1600 and 3200 Meter runs. Saturday in Lewistown she again took the top spot in both events.
The Cal Wearley Track and Field meet usually takes place the first Wednesday of April and is typically used as a stiff early season test for athletes to dust off the cobwebs of winter as the season gets underway. After three weeks of delay the meet finally was held last Wednesday with 34 teams participating and representing a strong contingent from the Northern B and Northern C as well as the Class A Havre Blue Ponies.
