We would like to thank everyone who came out and participated in the Customer Appreciation Block Party Thursday. The library had 120 people come through the doors! A shout out to Ben and Patty Hall, Debbie Munari, Barb Jergeson and Renda Kelly for serving lunch and cleaning up. At 3:00 pm. a representative from each business met at the Post Office and we drew for door prizes. Mildred Dawson was the winner from Bear Paw Credit Union, Pat Murdy won the Ace Hardware door prize, Lacy Schimmel won the Library door prize, Vonda Montgomery won the Villa door prize and Patricia Hofeldt’s name was drawn for the Post Office. Congratulations to the winners!

We have several thrillers from bestselling authors this week. The closer Amos Decker comes to the truth, the deadlier it gets in “The Fallen” David Baldacci’s latest Memory Man thriller. in “Shattered Mirror” by Iris Johansen forensic sculptor Eve Duncan is once again thrown into a deadly game of intrigue when she receives a cryptic package containing a skull and a two sided mirror. The President’s teenaged son is threatened by a potentially fatal illness that is rooted in dark secrets from a long-buried past in “The First Family” by Michael Palmer. “Then She Was Gone” by Lisa Jewell is a family drama with bone-chilling suspense. Ellie Mack was the perfect daughter. She was fifteen, the youngest of three. She was beloved by her parents, friends, and teachers. She and her boyfriend made a teenaged golden couple. She was days away from an idyllic post-exams summer vacation, with her whole life ahead of her. And then she was gone.
