Former Chinook resident Inga M. Siert pass away Saturday, April 7, 2018 at her home in Ramsdorf, Germany. She came to the U.S. along with her aunt and cousin in 1951. She managed the Bear Paw Court Motel for her Uncle Fred Siert and became owner at his death.

Inga returned to Germany after the motel was sold to be closer to her family there. She is survived by 2 sisters Kristine Siert and Gertrude (Herbert) Henricksen of Ramsdorf, nieces and nephews in Germany, Frances and Ranzie, a cousin Maria (Peter) Ove and their families of Savannah, GA and friends from her years in Chinook.
