May 23, 2018

William Spatz Jackson, age 41 of Fort Belknap passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday evening, May 16, 2018 from an acute coronary event.

He was born to Norman Chase Sr. and Bunni Jackson on December 28, 1976- after 4 days of hard labor. William was born breach and came into this world feet first. He was always on the run after that. He loved his family and friends- always asking questions about the things unknown. He lived most of his life on either the Fort Peck Reservation or in Fort Belknap.

William was so blessed when he met his true love- Vanessa Luna! Together they raised 3 children, who were Williams pride and joy- Tanessha, Challence and Aidian. Life gave him some hardships, but he never let them keep him down! He was born with his father's hard work ethic and ability to be a "Jack of all trades". His many uncles helped fuel a passion for Rodeo in William that peaked when he found "Wild Horse Racing"! What pride to be a part of our family tradition.

William made many friends while attending Ft. Belknap College- where he earned a degree in Carpentry and Welding! He thought of them as family. He was very proud of his kids' accomplishments. They all graduated from high school. Neesh- his baby & grandson Blue Thunder Boy! Chall- from grade school to football & wrestling! Agee- for all his crazy antics and facts! Jaxton- his #1 sidekick! Vanessa Luna- the love of his life from grade school to forever!

Surviving William are his love, Vanessa Luna; his sons, Challence and Aidian; his daughter, Tanessha; grandkids, Jaxton Spatz, Blue Thunder Boy & Kolby Healy; his mother, Bunni Jackson; sisters, Melissa Jackson, Artis Beauchamp, Sonja Hawk & Kelsey Chase; brothers, Norman Chase Jr., David Chase & David Hawk; aunts, Janice Chase, Carla McCarty & Paula Tennant; uncles, Dude Jackson and Booman- Cecil Jackson; many cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends- he loved you all!

William went to get his love on May 16, 2018. He kept on walking to "Ride the Thunderbirds Home". His journey in this place is done. The greatest journey has begun! Many relatives are so happy to have him with them again. He will be remembered by many here forever. Until we all come home- fly high and say Hi to everyone!.
