Interestingly, the game Shanighai Rummy was never introduced to me before. This week I was taught the game and I do believe it will take me some time to get the hang of it. Beginner’s luck was not with me, as my final score was 360 while the winning score was 55. Looking forward, I think I may have to try my hand at learning whist and relearning pinochle.

This week we will be playing Whist on Wednesday, Bingo on Thursday, Pinochle on Friday, Shanghai Rummy on Tuesday. All activities start at 1 p.m. There will be a potluck on Monday as it is the Memorial Day Holiday. No deliveries will be made that day. Our birthday dinner and the bake raffle will be May 25th. We look forward to having you come celebrate with us.
