The Chinook Jumping Juniper Garden Club future to be decided

May 30, 2018

The Chinook Jumping Juniper Garden Club has ceased to meet regularly due to the lack of a full slate of officers. In the future, any information on gardening programs will be made available to the public in advance of an event.

If there is a local group interested in promoting Yard of the Week or Yard of the Month, please contact Carol DePriest at 357-3870 or Linda Sharples at 357-3545. A new yard sign, made by Roger Jergeson, is available for use this summer.

The flower barrels in downtown Chinook have already been planted by garden club members and hopefully, community volunteers will continue this project. The Chinook Chamber of Commerce has been financing the barrel and flower expense. Thank You to local merchants who water these flowers.
