Isiah RunsAbove, a senior at Hays-Lodge Pole High School, recently signed a letter of intent to run cross country for the Montana State University-Northern men's cross country team beginning this fall of 2018. Isiah celebrated the occasion with family, friends and Hays-Lodge Pole staff. At the signing Isiah remarked, "I'm very happy with my decision. I'm nervous but excited and look forward to being part of a team."

Isiah has been a multisport standout athlete at Hays-Lodge Pole in recent years. During the past cross country season, Isiah won the state title in the "Class C" division. Isiah's former coach, Corey Morgan says, "Isiah is one of those kids who's always working, even when nobody's watching. MSUN head coach, Chad Spangler commented "I'm happy that Isiah has chosen Northern. I really think he's going to enjoy the team and compete well in the Frontier Conference."
