The Blaine County Journal News-Opinion - We've Got The County Covered

Harlem Senior Center

July 11, 2018

Thank You: Albertsons for the strawberries, Robin Rhodes for the jigsaw puzzle and decks of Pinochle cards Rose, Irene, Kay, Robin, Gen, Elsie, Charlie, Keith, Ed and Chuck for riding the July 4th Parade float.

The new show at Fort Peck Theater is “Leader of the Pack”. It will play each Friday, Saturday and Sunday now through July 22nd. This is a musical about an up and coming music star and her love life and the ups and downs with both. Plus lots of hit songs from the 60’s will get your toes a tappin’.

Just so you know…

The Harlem Senior Center served 5313 meals in the building and delivered 629 meals for the fiscal year just ending (July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018). I’m not even going to tell you how many plates and bowls that added up to that got set, scraped and washed! The Meal Program is one big undertaking for the Harlem

Senior Center. Thanks to everyone (employees and volunteers) who helps in any way possible to make all this happen smoothly week after week, Monday through Saturday!

Wise Words: No longer forward nor behind I look in hope and fear; but grateful take the good I find, the best of now and here.
