Don and Valerie Van Voast were tasked with the cleaning up their yard after a violent wind and hail storm on Tuesday, July 10th. Friends and relatives arrived to help remove limbs and tree trunks the next day. Those very appreciated volunteers helped the Van Voasts and many others around the town of Turner.
Susan Fox went to Buffalo and rode with Bob Fox and family to the Fox family reunion in Wisconsin.
Tom and Lucy Fairbank traveled to Sealy to take in the Violet/Wilson family reunion over the weekend.
Tammy Jones spent the weekend in Joplin helping with babysitting. She brought Kenley and Carter Tempel home with her to spend a few days with Grandpa and Grandma.

The town of Turner was amidst a horrific wind/hail storm that ripped through the area on Tuesday. It left the town with a power outage for a short time, uprooted trees, broken windows, and a general mess. The town pulled together, and it's getting back in shape. Many gardens and crops are a loss.
