Chinook course hosts 23rd Annual Fireball

The 23rd Annual Fireball had a full field of 20 teams this past Saturday with plenty of great hole prizes. Above: Grant Tilleman take his swing on the Par 3 fourth hole hoping to win a trip to Hawaii with a Hole-in-One, but it just didn't happen. 80 golfers took their chance to win the trip or $5,000 for accomplishing the feat on hole 5.
The Chinook Golf Course held the 23rd Annual Fireball Tournament this past Saturday with 20 four person teams competing. Plenty of Hole Prizes were available including a Trip to Hawaii, $5,000 Hole in one Prize and even a $10,000 three putt challenge.
The team of Harley Paugh, Tom Schwab, Lane Seymour and Mike Seymour took top honors with a score of 59 and also won the Calcutta with a 29. Eddie Moore, Neil Rosette, Pete Stiffarm and Pat Whitcomb were the first net winners overall (52.03) and second net in the Calcutta (26.51).
A.J. LaMere, Cody Mattfeldt, Ed Parisian and Shane Patacsil were second overall net winners (52.90) and first net winners in the Calcutta with a 25.95. Jeff Brandon, Kelsie Briese, Kaare Engebretson and Tim MacLean were third overall net with a 53.77. Troy Azure, Kelly Benson, Kody Farmer and Kendal Harwood finished third in the Calcutta with a 26.60.
There were 13 Deuces on the day paying $35 a piece. No Hole in One prizes were won and in the three putt challenge Eddie Moore, Pat Whitcomb, Shane Patacsil, and Mike Seymour made their 10 foot putt. Shane Patacsil and Mike Seymour then made the 30 foot putt but neither one of them were able to drain the 50 footer for $10,000 Cash.
At the conclusion of the tournament, players were treated to a Prime Rib dinner and plenty of door prizes were given away with everyone walking away with something.
The tournament is always full and many spots in the 20 team field have already been reserved for the 24th Annual Fireball set for August 17, 2019.
