The Chinook Sugarbeeters picked up a spirited 3-2 non-conference win over the Malta M-ettes last Tuesday night in Chinook and then welcomed the Hays/Lodge Pole Thunderbirds to town Friday in District 6C-East action. Chinook swept the Thunderbirds to remain undefeated in conference play at 7-0 and improve to 9-2 overall.
The Sugarbeeters fell to the M-ettes early in the season and were looking to earn a season split when they hosted Malta last Tuesday.
The Sugarbeeters came to play from the get go taking an early lead and holding on for a 25-20 opening set win.
