December 5, 2018

The Chinook Sugarbeeters were in Havre for there first competition of the new year with four wrestlers competing. The Harlem Wildcats were in Cascade at the Badger Invitational.

The 'Beeters accumulated 36.5 points in Havre with just half of their wrestlers competing. Chinook will look to have most of their wrestlers on the mat this Friday when they host their home mixer.

Junior JT Hauer led the way for the 'Beeter wrestlers finishing third at the tournament in the 160 pound weight class.

Hauer began Saturday with a hard fought loss to CMR's Mike Brien Jr in first round action 10-5. Hauer bounced back in the consolation semifinal round by defeating Hunter Decker of Simms 4-0 to advance to the third place match.
