Turner girls and boys split games at North C Showcase in Glasgow

The Turner boys and girls basketball team each went 1-1 during season opening action this past weekend at the Class C Showcase held in Glasgow. The girls defeated North Country 54-38 and the boys topped Frazer 64-29
The Turner boys and girls basketball season got their 2018-19 seasons under way this past weekend with a pair of games at the Class C Showcase in Glasgow.
The boys picked up a 64-29 win over Frazer Friday night while the girls fell to Scobey 54-46. Saturday it was the girls picking up the win, 54-38 over North Country. The boys fell to Lustre 52-44.
The Tornado girls got as three point bomb from junior Sarah Billmayer in the opening quarter against the Spartans but trailed 22-9 after eight minutes of action.
