Cheryl L. (Stuhlmiller) Rigby, 67, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Pondera Medical Center Extended Care from cancer.

Cheryl was born to Elmer and Betty (Joubert) Stuhlmiller on May 8, 1951 in Circle, MT. Later her family moved to Harlem where Cheryl graduated from high school in 1969.

Cheryl furthered her education in nursing and veterinary sciences. She was a compassionate care-taker of all animals, especially her beloved cat.

Cheryl met Bert Rigby in the spring of 1973. In January 1974 they were married and in January 1975 their daughter, Tammy Jo, was born.

Cheryl was active in the VFW Auxiliary functions, at Blood Drawings, and church functions.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer & Betty; grandparents; and aunts and uncles.

Survivors include her husband, Bert; daughter, Tammy (Berry) Rider; sister, Renee (John) Lyle; brother, Jere; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held in early May 2019.
