Blaine County Cruisers Looking for Entries

The Blaine County Cruisers will once again be holding their car show in conjunction with the Chinook Area Chamber of Commerce Sugarbeet Festival. The show will be held at the Blaine County Fairgrounds on Saturday, September 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Blaine County Cruisers (BCC) Car Show will take place on Saturday, September 14, from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. in conjunction with the Sugarbeet Festival and the Chinook Rod and Gun Club gun show. While the gun show is taking place in the Commercial Building at the Blaine County Fairgrounds, the car show will occupy the grass near that building.
Anyone wishing to put their vehicle on display should plan to arrive at the fairgrounds, 300 Cleveland Road West in Chinook, between 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The BCC will be awarding trophies for Best Mopar, GM, Ford, pickup, and other; Best of Show; and People's Choice at approximately 2:30 p.m. According to Matt Langford with the BCC, that awards agenda will enable the drivers to get their cars ready for parade line-up if they choose to participate. A parade of cars will join the Sugarbeet Festival parade, with line up occurring at 3:30.
Following the parade, the BCC will be hosting a horseshoe tournament at the fairgrounds. The entry fee will be $20.00 per team, and the top two teams will receive prize money. The tournament will be limited to the first 16 teams that call, so interested persons are encouraged to call Loren Skoyen early to indicate their desire to compete. Tickets are also still available to win a trip to Las Vegas for the National Finals Rodeo (NFR). Members of the BCC are selling raffle tickets for a trip for two to the NFR from December 11-15. Prize winners will receive airfare, hotel for five days and four nights, and NFR tickets in Las Vegas. Those interested in purchasing raffle tickets can contact any BCC club member.
