Amy Belle Smith, President of Chinook's Nile #12 Chapter of the Daughters of the Nile, has announced that Linda Hiltabrand will be visiting Chinook September 10, 2019. Hiltabrand is the reigning Montana Queen for the Daughters of the Nile State group.

The Daughters of the Nile is "an international fraternal organization for women 18 years or older, who are related by birth or marriage to a Shriner, Master Mason, Daughter of the Nile, or is a majority member in good standing of a masonic-related organization for girls."

Last year, Daughters of the Nile national chapter raised just over two million dollars that went to support the twenty-two children's hospitals operated by the Shriners. In the same year, the group's members devoted 150,000 volunteer hours working the various children's hospitals.

Linda Hiltabrand, this year's Queen, will be visiting Chinook's Chapter as part of the duties of her office. Barb Burns, Coordinator of Hospital Requests, will accompany her. Queen Linda Hiltabrand will be drawing the winning tickets for the six raffle prizes offered by the local Daughters of the Nile. The raffles are part of the fundraising efforts to support the work of the hospitals. Thanks to everyone whom has participated in our raffle.
