November 27, 2019

Plan ahead, 28th Annual Hassle Free Christmas Program will be Tuesday December 3rd at 7:00 p.m. As always we will have demonstrations, the Bell Choir will perform and we will have plenty of goodies to eat.

Blaine County Library will be closed Thursday November 28th in observance of Thanksgiving. We will also be closed Friday November 29th, but you can find us at the Christmas stroll where we will be collaborating with Buhmann Apiaries. The Bell Choir will be performing in the Library Meeting Room during the Christmas Stroll.

Free People Reading Freely met Monday November 18th. We discussed the book “Love and Other Consolation Prizes” by Jamie Ford. The group chose the book “Where the Crawdads Sing” by Della Owens for our next meeting, which will be Monday January 20, 2020. We have copies of the book available.

New fiction this week includes “A Minute to Midnight” by David Baldacci, “Darkdawn” by Jay Kristoff and “The Testaments” by Margaret Atwood. “Finding Chika” by Mitch Albom is a new non-fiction book about a little girl, an earthquake, and the making of a family.

The Lion King is a new movie available this week.

There is always something going on at the library. Check us out on Facebook or look us up on our website at http: http://www.blainecountylibrary.org for up to date information about what’s going on!
