Harlem Public Schools in Lock-down December 9

The Harlem Junior/Senior High School along with the Harlem Elementary School were placed in lock-down the afternoon of Monday. December 9, following an undisclosed threat.

Students at both locations were kept at the school until being released in the early evening. School activities were shut down as well as extra curricular activities.

Students and staff at both the Junior/Senior High School and Elementary returned to normal activity Tuesday and extra curricular activities returned to a normal schedule.

The Blaine County Sheriff Department and school officials have not disclosed the source of the threat as of yet. All protocols have been met to ensure the safety of all students and staff.
