Harlem Library

The Book Challenge for Jan. is to read a book with an ugly cover! Congratulations to Steve Leitner for winning the 2019 Reading Challenge drawing. The Book Club meets Mondays at 4 P.M. Storytime for ages 0-5 and their parents/ caregivers is held Tuesdays at 10 A.M. After School Squad for elementary students meets on Wednesdays at 3:30. Lego Club for all ages is held on Thursdays at 4:30. The library will be closed Jan.20 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The library board will hold its regular meeting Jan. 29, 4:15 P.M. During Jan. you can “Buy a Bag O’Books” for only one dollar. Fill up a grocery sack full of used books.

Blaine County Library

Story Time is Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. After School Hangout is Tuesdays from 3:30 – 4:30 and is open to students in grades 5 and up. There will not be LEGO/STEAM Club this week.

Fair Board Meeting

Fair Board Meeting Tuesday, January 14 - 7:00 pm at the Commercial Building. Public welcome.

Chinook Senior Center

Presents: Barb Skoyen R.N. “Let’s Talk About Health And Wellness” Tuesday, January 21, at 11:15 a.m. Call a day ahead for dinner reservations or come to hear the program.

Veteran Affairs

Judy Loendorf and/or Steve Mulonet, Service Officers for the Montana Veterans Affairs will be visiting the Fort Belknap – IHS CHR Conference Room – 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16th to meet with Veterans who are interested in applying for benefits. If you are interested in applying for benefits, please bring a copy of your discharge paperwork (DD214) with you.

Montana Land & Mineral Owners Association

Will meet Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 7 p.m. at Hill County Election Meeting Room in Havre.

Blaine County

Spelling Bee

The Blaine County Spelling Bee will be held in the Chinook High School Auditorium on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Students grades 4-8 throughout the County will be competing. Please call the Blaine County Superintendents office for more information.
