DIRECTOR’S CORNER:
This will be a little shorter column then in the past few newsletters. The Harlem Senior Center board members are Dale Klungland, President; Sally O’Leary, Vice President; Kay Schmitt, Secretary; and members Linda Murch and Rose Noel as the other directors. Starting the new year of 2020, we have 5 members instead of 7. The Board meets the second Tuesday of each month. Anyone is welcome to come to the meetings. If you have any suggestions or questions, please feel to attend. We have three employees. Connie Zanto as the Director, Jackie RunsAbove as the Janitor and Lisa Werk as the Cook. I am really hoping we will have a stable staff that will work together to provide the best darn Senior Center around. It’s been quite the challenge trying to keep a steady staff. I could not do this job alone. I have been very blessed with the many volunteers who have stepped up and offered to help and have always been there when I have needed them. Thank you so much to the many volunteers who have made my job very workable. Until next time. It is what it is.
