Harlem Library

The “Circle of Security” parenting class series begins Thursday, February 6, 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the library. There is no charge and child care will be provided. Call the library to register, or for more information. The Book Challenge for February is to read a book that reminds you of someone you love. The library will be closed February 7 so staff may attend training. Book Club members are reminded to pick up the new selection “Little Fires Everywhere” this week. The first discussion will be February 10, 4 P.M. February is Love Your Library Month. Stop by a take part in the Color Like You Mean It activity this month. The Online Book Club is reading “The Institute” by Stephen King. You may join on our Facebook page.

Blaine County Library

Census employment applications will be taken in the library meeting room today from 12:00 – 4:00. Story Time is Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. After School Hangout is Tuesdays from 3:30 – 4:30 and is open to students in grades 5 and up. LEGO/STEAM Club is Thursdays at 3:30 p.m. for students K-6. Younger children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

Montana Veteran Affairs

Judy Loendorf and/or Steve Mulonet, Service Officers for the Montana Veterans Affairs will be visiting the Fort Belknap – IHS CHR Conference Room – 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2020 to meet with Veterans who are interested in applying for benefits. If you are interested in applying for benefits, please bring a copy of your discharge paperwork (DD214) with you.

Travel Meeting

Doug Hayes will host a meeting in room 101 for those interested in two upcoming trips on Monday, February 10 at 6:00 p.m. We will take a trip to DC in June (tentative dates are June 9th to June 16th) and a second trip to Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Acadia National Park in Maine from Sept. 16th to the 24th. Chinook Senior Center

Chinook Senior Center presents Christopher (C.J.) Jenness, Physical Therapist and Rebecca Shackelford, Administrator of the Sweet Memorial Nursing Home. The topic will be Bone Health. February 18, at 11:15 Chinook Sr. Center. Call 357-2648 a day ahead for dinner reservations or come to hear the program.

Relay For Life
