Cast for Dinner Theater Will Include One Blaine County Resident

February 26, 2020

Earlier this month, Director Grant Olson announced the cast for the touring dinner theatre that will travel throughout the region from mid-March to the beginning of May. Auditions were held Monday evening, February 3, at the Montana Actor’s Theater (MAT) on the campus of MSU-Northern for three female and two male roles in the original play Ticked Off written by Rachel Hutchison. Chinook resident Anjenette Hawk landed a role in the show as the Great Tiki.

Ticked Off is a tale of star-crossed lovers. The plot revolves around whether a love between a religious vegetarian and a devout meat-eater can survive in a world determined to keep them apart.

Other cast members will be Barry Brownlee as Elijah, Serena Dawson playing Sophie, Andi Daniel portraying Marcy, Patrick Ulano acting the part of Scott, and Sami Brownlee appearing as Emma.

Author of the script written for this production, Hutchison (formerly Rachel Dean) is a ten-year MAT veteran who has been both on stage and behind the scenes as a director, stage manager, light technician/operator, and musical director. She was most recently seen as Rachel Crabbe in One Man, Two Guvnors and as Captain Hook in the Christmas Panto, Peter Pan.

For the fourth year, the Chinook Eagles will host the event on March 27-28. Event organizers promise the night will prove hilarious – and delicious.

The dinner theater also has performances scheduled in Havre, Shelby, and Lewistown, with the potential for dates in other communities.
