Hogeland Happenings

June 3, 2020

Some of the farmers in the community have finished putting in their crops. It would be nice to get a little rain now to help it come up. What moisture we had probably evaporated with all the wind we have been getting.

Wally and Loretta Beck attended their granddaughter Harley Jo Beck’s First Communion and Confirmation at the Big Flat Catholic Church on Sunday. They also enjoyed Breakfast at the Shawn Beck home afterwards. Congratulations to Harley Jo Beck, Lucas Grabofsky, and Hudson Simons who were also confirmed. It was a very special day for the young people.

Eric Billmayer and Karyn Reiger brought dinner out to Susan and Gene Billmayers home on Memorial Day for all to enjoy.

Darwin and Keith Zellmer were visitors at the Wally Beck home one Thursday.

Congratulations to Elissa Zellmer and Heather Jorgenson who graduated with a Masters degree from MSU-Northern.

Cindy Reed came from Billings Memorial Day to see Mom and Dad Krass and her sisters for the day. Hilary Richman brought dinner for everyone. The girls had a yard project and all of them got together and planted flowers and trimmed trees in the yard. So nice to get it looking so nice. The apple tree was in bloom and they got a few pictures. Our thanks to them for their hard work.

Susan and Emily Billmayer went to Chinook on Wednesday and removed the flowers from the cemetery family graves.

Hilary Richman was out Sunday to visit and brought hot dogs to barbecue for lunch for Mom and Dad Krass.

Susan and Gene Billmayer went to Havre Saturday for repairs.

Sounds like it is going to warm this coming week. I guess it is June tomorrow. Summer has begun.

The Krass daughters have all stopped in this past week to help Mom and Dad and to visit.
