Janice Nesslar passed away June 16th, 2020 at the age of 80 from natural causes. A private graveside service was held on June 19th, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with the immediate family in attendance.
Janice was born June 30th, 1939 in Ogden, Utah, to Enos and Stella Bernice Beard. She graduated from Chinook High School. She married James Nesslar on October 3rd, 1958 in Chinook, Montana. Jim and Janice resided in Chinook all their lives. Janice helped Jim on the ranch in Paradise Valley outside of Chinook for the early years of their marriage. They then moved to Havre where she worked in various cashier and cook positions.
In retirement, Janice enjoyed spending time outside working with her flowers and enjoying the out doors. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband and four children. James Nesslar, Shauna (Earl) Brown, Bonnie Nesslar, Mike (Heather) Nesslar, and Scott (Gail) Nesslar. She is also survived by five siblings. Lois (Don) Schrader, Ted (Joann) Beard, Norma (Roger) Donis, Steve (Sue) Beard,and Greg (Donna) Beard. She was blessed with nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Bud Beard, Cliff Beard and Rita Seaman.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilderness Funeral Home.
